75th Anniversary Celebrations

In 2008 Birkenhead Soroptimists celebrated 75 years of service to the community. The Club held a week of celebrations to mark the event.

To start the celebrations we organised our first Moonwalk in aid of Breakthrough Breast Cancer. This was a huge success with over 400 people taking part with the Army providing breakfast for the walkers at the end of the 10 mile walk. £15,419 was raised for the Charity.
